Industry Best Materials | Viton Fluorocarbon Rubber

Hare Around It™ bolt gasket seals are made from the finest material and technology, Viton fluorocarbon rubber.

Viton fluorocarbons are an extremely chemically resistant and dense elastomer. Because of this, Viton fluorocarbon rubber is known to have extremely broad chemical resistance and significantly higher density than other types of rubber. Viton is also known to be highly temperature and flame resistant. More than just the durability of this rubber, Viton fluorocarbon bolt gaskets also compress with pressure and swell slightly with heat, which means it can fill in imperfections for a liquid-like seal, preventing any leaks. Because of this durability and flexibility, Viton rubber has been used for in a variety of applications such as in O-rings in Scuba diving or tube lining for biodiesel applications.

No fluorocarbon rubber is better suited for these extreme situations than Viton, so you know you can expect a tight, dependable seal from our Hare Around It™ bolt gasket seals.

Because they are made of Viton fluorocarbon rubber, Hare Around It™ bolt gasket seals stop even the most stubborn leaks.

Viton compresses slightly with the tightening of your bolt, filling in imperfections and micro fissures in your sealing surfaces and preventing leaks. Viton Fluorocarbon bolt gaskets have excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, and many organic solvents and chemicals. In other words, our gaskets thrive in environments where silicon gaskets can fail. Hare Around It™ Viton fluorocarbon bolt gaskets also come with a peel and stick backing, so they can be pre-attached around the bolt hole, making it easier to locate during assembly. You will be able to choose the right size for SAE or metric fasteners, depending on your application.

Our Viton fluorocarbon gasket seals are proudly made in the US, using American made components.

Superior Leak Protection | Viton Fluorocarbon Seal Technology

Superior Leak Protection | Viton Fluorocarbon Seal Technology

With normal bolts and gaskets, the surface around the bolt hole and the bottom of the bolt may not form a seal.

As you know, the lack of a tight seal can mean leaking or dripping, and drips can cause damage to machinery and the surrounding area, such as your garage floor. Hare Around It™ bolt gaskets are made from high-quality Viton fluorocarbon rubber, which allows it to create a liquid-tight seal to completely stop drips, every single time.

Because they're made with premium quality Viton material, you know they're built to last, and you'll never need to worry about cleaning up a puddle of oil from your garage floor again. Whether for solenoid housing or other applications, Hare Around It™ gasket seals fit under the bolt to prevent leaks and drips before they start.
